Ian Wilson, Chairman is the third generation of the family to lead the business and the board of directors includes family members from the fourth generation.

The early years
When Howard Wilson started the family business in 1908 there were only a few thousand cars in the country. People flocked to his company in order to learn how to drive the new horseless carriage. As the number of car owners increased in the 1920’s and 1930’s so the company expanded and at the end of the Second World War the business moved to Epsom. In 1953 Wilsons became a Renault dealer, adding Nissan and Peugeot along the way. Wilsons is now the oldest privately owned dealership in the country. Wilsons has certainly changed out of all recognition since the first days of the motor-car.
